Welcome to Southern Celebrations at Collins Grove

The Collins Family is excited to introduce you to our premier event venue in our hometown of Florence, South Carolina.

Jeremy and Kendra moved to Florence in 2002, where they made a home and raised three children, Dylan, Hannah and Caroline. From the beginning, the couple shared a passion for helping others celebrate their special events and weddings, and they have spent years working together toward establishing a venue in their hometown. 

Kendra discovered her passion for weddings in college, when she began working in a bridal shop. She loved working with brides, seeing the joy on their faces when they found the dress, and knowing she was helping them with a piece of one of the most important days of their lives. Since 2006, Kendra has served as an events coordinator, planning and executing events of all sizes. She truly loves the entire process of event planning and watching a client’s vision for their special day come to life.

Jeremy opened Party In A Tent, an event rental company, more than ten years ago in Florence. It has since grown into a successful company with multiple locations in four states. Through the years, Jeremy and Kendra held a long-term dream to open an event venue, serving their community, and supporting other small local businesses and non-profits. With Jeremy’s knowledge of the event business and Kendra’s experience with planning, establishing an event venue felt like the right next step for them. So, they took a leap of faith in 2022 and opened Southern Celebrations at Collins Grove.

For Jeremy and Kendra, this is truly a dream job, and they could not feel more blessed to help so many wonderful couples realize their perfect wedding at this breathtaking location. Thank you for letting Southern Celebrations at Collins Grove be a part of your story!
